The competitive race will be held on Sunday 15 February 2026 on a Fidal approved course starting at 9.00 am.
Participation and Registration
In accordance with the regulations for the organization of events issued by FIDAL, the following are eligible to participate:
– ALL athletes regularly registered with an Italian sports club affiliated with FIDAL – FIDAL Regulations, starting from the Junior category or born in 2008 or later (18 years of age);
– All foreign and Italian athletes registered with foreign Federations affiliated with WA are eligible to participate, in compliance with current regulations, i.e., the presentation of a self-certification certifying possession of the membership (as per the attached form);
– All Italian and foreign athletes with a RUN CARD who are at least 20 years of age (one thousandth of age) are eligible to participate. Upon registration, participants in the competitive race must attach a copy of their medical certificate of fitness for competitive athletics, valid as of February 15, 2026, or must show the original to the organizers when picking up their bib (who will keep a copy). Non-resident foreigners may present a certificate issued in their home country, but the same tests required by Italian law must have been performed: a) medical examination; b) complete urine test; c) resting and post-exercise electrocardiogram; d) spirography.
Participation is subject to self-certified health conditions. SELF
– CERTIFICATION: Athletes must have a self-declaration certifying the absence of quarantine measures.
Competitors with a RUN CARD are included in the event rankings and awards.
Non-competitive tourism/sports races over the same distance may be held outside of the federal framework, with participation only by non-member foreign nationals. This non-competitive tourism/sports event is not regulated by FIDAL, and non-member foreign nationals may start in the designated competitive race grids, provided they wear dedicated bibs. They must also be placed in alphabetical order of arrival, separate from the competitive event rankings.

2026 Half Marathon Rates

– from November 1, 2025 to December 15, 2025 – €25
– from December 16, 2025 to January 31, 2026 – €30
– from February 1, 2026 to Saturday, February 14, 2026 – €45
Only for the first limit of 250 participants.
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15 BEFORE THE RACE.
The organization reserves the right to temporarily suspend, or even close early, registrations to reach the maximum limit to guarantee all services.

Non-Participation and Refund of Participation Fees.
In the event of non-participation in the race, registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
However, athletes unable to participate will be offered two alternatives, which must be communicated to the organizers by February 3, 2026:
1. Transferring their registration to the 2027 WRA Half Marathon by paying a €10.00 administrative fee when re-registering.
This transfer discount can only be used once. Transferring your registration to the 2026 edition cannot be combined with other discounted rates.
2. Transfer your registration to another person upon payment of a €10.00 administrative fee and return of the confirmation email received.
This transfer option is available only for the 2026 edition and only once. Transferring your registration to another person cannot be combined with any other discounted rates.
The person pre-registered in 2025 or registering as a replacement must complete the registration form from scratch with all personal information, membership details, and submit a medical certificate. A new, available bib number will be assigned, with access to the starting gate available at that time.
In the event of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, registrations may be transferred to subsequent years, up to a maximum of three editions, provided they are all confirmed with new acceptance forms for the chosen edition. Registrations may be transferred to other people as above for a €10.00 surcharge.
If the documentation is missing, an email will be sent indicating the missing or required documentation (payment receipts, valid FIDAL membership card on the day of the race, valid medical certificate for competitive athletics on the day of the race, etc.).
Participants must present themselves at the Expo Maratona to collect their bib, along with their personal identification document and any additional documentation required.
Race Bib and Packet Pickup:
Athletes can pick up their race bibs on Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., at the Expo Maratona at Carrara Fiere.
To pick them up, you will need to present your ID and any documentation requested in the confirmation letter (sports card, RunCard, valid medical certificate of fitness for competitive sport).
Only ONE other participant may pick up the race bib and pack, provided they are accompanied by a proxy and a copy of their ID. No one may collect more than one race bib/pack per proxy.
Services
All registered participants will be entitled to a race pack, refreshments, sponges, medical assistance, a finisher’s medal, a downloadable diploma online, and a time recording with their arrival order.
Start:
Meet at the starting area at 8:00 a.m. on Viale Cristoforo Colombo.
Start is at 9:00 a.m.
Entry to the starting boxes is permitted from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Latecomers will be asked to start from the last starting box at the end of the race.
All athletes must be ready and inside the starting boxes by 8:45 a.m.
It will not be permitted to enter a starting grid other than the one indicated on the race bib. Once entered, athletes will not be able to leave their starting box.
However, starting from a grid further back than their assigned starting box is permitted.
The times are subject to change based on any regulations from security and police authorities.
Race bib:
The race bib is personal and sharing it with other competitors is prohibited, under penalty of disqualification.
The race bib must be attached to the jersey you are competing in, in a clearly visible location on the front. Under no circumstances may the writing be hidden, under penalty of disqualification.
Time limit
The time limit to complete the 21,097 km is set at 6 hours.
Timing and Chip:
Timing will be performed using a microchip inserted into the bib, which also allows you to record your actual time.
The chip is strictly personal and cannot be exchanged.
“Real Time” will begin with the crossing of the starting line and end with the crossing of the finish line. Additional unannounced measurements will be taken to ensure the accuracy of the rankings.
Rankings based on the Gun Time will be made official after being validated by the Technical Delegate Judge/Appeals Judge.
The bib and therefore the sensor must not be removed under any circumstances, under penalty of disqualification from the rankings.

Bag drop –
off will be available in the Carrara Fiere area, 500 meters from the start, in the designated areas, divided by bib number group starting at 7:45 a.m. Staff will leave your bag in the designated areas. It is mandatory to affix the sticker with your bib number, which you received at the Expo, to your bag. Bag drop-off closes at 8:30 a.m.

Results
The official total and partial results, recorded on the “Gun Time”, will be published on the websites www.whitemarblemarathon.com and www.endu.net after the rankings have been validated by the Technical Delegate or Appeals Judge.
Rankings and Awards
Three rankings will be drawn up: the order of arrival based on the measurements, the one according to the Fidal circulars for the competitive race, and the list of finishers in the non-competitive race.
The top three men overall and the top three women overall will receive trophies.
All top finishers in each male and female category will receive awards.

Image Rights.
By signing the White Marble Marathon registration form, the athlete hereby expressly authorizes the organization to use, free of charge, still and/or moving images of themselves taken during their participation in the Marathon. This authorization to use their image is granted for an indefinite period and without territorial restrictions worldwide, for use in various publications and films, including, but not limited to, promotional and/or advertising materials, and across all media.
The organization may also assign the usage rights set forth in this agreement to third parties, including its institutional and commercial partners.
By signing the registration
form, the athlete declares that he or she knows and accepts the White Marble Marathon regulations, published on the website www.whitemarblemarathon.com. He or she also expressly declares, under his or her own responsibility, not only that his or her statements are truthful (Article 2 of Law No. 15 of January 4, 1968, as amended by Article 3, paragraph 10 of Law No. 127 of May 15, 1997), but that he or she exonerates the organizers from any liability, whether civil or criminal, for damage to persons and/or property caused by or resulting from him or her.
Final Notices:
The White Marble Marathon Organizers reserve the right to add to and update these regulations at any time, subject to prior agreement with the Race Committee and the National Federation of Italian Athletics Federations (FIDAL). This is to ensure the smooth running of the event, especially in conjunction with other collateral events, to ensure the coexistence of all participants, and/or following official orders regarding public order. Any changes to services, locations, and schedules will be communicated to registered athletes via confirmation email or posted on the website www.whitemarblemarathon.com, the only official source.

Expo opens from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Distribution of bibs, chips, programs, and race packs. Accreditation and passes for press, guests, and staff. Information, reception, and hospitality area.
Sunday, February 15, 2026:
From 7:00 am to 8:00 am, Expo opens for the distribution of bibs, chips, programs, and race packs.
Baggage collection opens at 7:45 am in the Fiera area.
8:00 am: Participant cages open, with the distribution of bibs, chips, and race packs.
8:30 am: Baggage drop-off and final caging at the start area.
8:45 am: Cage closing.
9:00 am: Race start.
12:00 pm: Awards ceremony begins.
3:30 pm: 6-hour time limit expires, event closes.
General information about the route.
Athletes will follow the course measured by FIDAL.
Refreshment stations will be available every 5 km.
It is strictly forbidden to have acquaintances assist you along the route with liquid or solid refreshments other than those provided by the organizers and/or those not properly placed at the tables provided by the organization. This will result in disqualification. The organization prohibits the presence of people without a race bib on the course (on foot, by bicycle, or by any other means) and may seek expulsion from the course and report any person (for fraud, sporting fraud, or risk to the safety of regular participants) through traffic police and municipal authorities.
The organization cannot be held responsible in any way for damage or injury caused to anyone unlawfully entering the course (without a race bib, by bicycle, or otherwise). The course is entirely paved. Mileage and final rankings will be reported to the Italian Timekeepers’ Federation (FIC).
Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in compliance with the FIDAL and RTI rules.
For anything not covered by the regulations, the FIDAL rules apply.
