Date and Time
The competitive race will take place on Sunday, 14 February 2027, on a FIDAL-certified course, starting at 9:00 a.m.

Participation and Registration
In accordance with the event organisation regulations issued by FIDAL, participation is open to:
– ALL athletes duly registered with an Italian sports club affiliated with FIDAL, in accordance with FIDAL regulations, from the Junior category onwards, i.e. those born in 2009 or earlier (18 years of age);
– All foreign and Italian athletes registered with foreign federations affiliated with World Athletics, in accordance with the applicable regulations, upon submission of a self-certification confirming their membership (using the attached template);
– All Italian and foreign athletes holding a RUN CARD who are at least 20 years of age (based on year of birth). When registering for the competitive race, participants must attach a copy of a medical certificate specifically confirming fitness for competitive athletics, valid on 14 February 2027, or present the original certificate to the organisers when collecting their race bib (the organisers will retain a copy). Non-resident foreign athletes may submit a certificate issued in their own country, provided that the same examinations required by Italian regulations have been performed: a) medical examination; b) complete urine test; c) resting and post-exercise electrocardiogram; d) spirometry.

Competitors holding a RUN CARD will be included in the event results and awards.

A non-competitive race for tourism/sporting purposes may be organised over the same distance outside the jurisdiction of the federation, with participation restricted to unregistered foreign nationals. This non-competitive tourism/sporting event does not fall under the jurisdiction of FIDAL. Unregistered foreign nationals may start in the corrals arranged for the competitive race, provided that they are identified by dedicated race bibs. They must also be included in an alphabetical finishing list separate from the results of the competitive event.

– FIDAL membership card, foreign World Athletics membership card or Runcard, and a medical certificate confirming fitness for competitive sport.

2027 Half Marathon Entry Fees
Fees can be viewed directly on the entry form.
– from 1 September 2026 to 31 October 2026 – €20
– from 1 November 2026 to 15 December 2026 – €30
– from 16 December 2026 to 31 January 2027 – €35
– from 1 February 2027 to Saturday, 13 February 2027 – €45

The first fee bracket is limited to 250 entrants
NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON SUNDAY, 14 FEBRUARY, BEFORE THE RACE
The organiser reserves the right to suspend registrations temporarily, or close them early, if the maximum participation limit is reached, in order to guarantee all services.

Non-participation and Refund of Entry Fees
If an athlete does not take part in the race, entry fees will under no circumstances be refunded.

However, athletes who are unable to take part in the race will be offered two alternatives, which must be communicated to the organiser no later than 2 February 2027:
1. Transfer the registration to the White Marble Marathon 2028, subject to payment, at the time of the new registration, of an administration fee equal to 50% of the fee in effect at the time of transfer.
The option to transfer a registration to the following year’s event may be used only once. Transfer of a registration to the 2028 event may not be combined with any other discounted rates.

2. Transfer the registration to another person, subject to payment of an additional €10.00 administration fee and return of the confirmation email received.
The option to transfer a registration to another athlete may be used only for the 2027 event and, in any case, only once. Transfer of a registration to another person may not be combined with any other discounted rates.

Anyone pre-registered in 2026 or registered as a replacement must complete a new registration form in full, providing all personal information and membership details and submitting a medical certificate. A new available race number will be assigned, together with access to the start corral available at that time.
Anyone pre-registered for the 2026 event must exercise the transfer option no later than 30 November 2026.

If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, registrations may be transferred to subsequent years, for no more than three editions, provided that each registration is confirmed using a new form accepting the rules of the chosen edition. Registrations may be transferred to other persons as described above, subject to an additional fee of €10.00.

If the documentation is incomplete, an email will be sent specifying the missing documents or any additional documents required (proof of payment, FIDAL membership card valid on race day, medical certificate confirming fitness for competitive athletics valid on race day, etc.).

Participants must report to the Marathon Expo to collect their race bib, bringing personal identification and any additional documentation requested.

Race Bib and Race Pack Collection
Athletes may collect their race bibs at the Marathon Expo at Carrara Fiere on Saturday, 13 February 2027, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, 14 February 2027, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
To collect the race bib, athletes must present personal identification and any documentation requested in the confirmation letter (sports membership card, Runcard and a valid medical certificate confirming fitness for competitive sport).
An athlete may collect the race bib and race pack of ONE other participant only, provided that they present a letter of authorisation and a copy of that participant’s identification. No one may collect more than one race pack/race bib under delegated authority.

Services
All registered participants will be entitled to a race pack, refreshment stations, sponge stations, medical assistance, a finisher’s medal, an online downloadable certificate and electronic timing, including their finishing position.

Start
Participants must assemble in the start area on Viale Cristoforo Colombo at 8:00 a.m.
The race will start at 9:00 a.m.
Entry to the corrals is permitted from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Latecomers will be asked to start from the final corral, at the back of the race.
All athletes must be ready and inside the start corrals by 8:45 a.m.
Athletes will not be permitted to enter a start corral other than the one indicated on their race bib. Once athletes have entered their assigned corral, they may not leave it.
Athletes may, however, start from a corral farther back than the one assigned to them.
Times may change in accordance with any instructions issued by the security services and police authorities.

Race Bib
The race bib is personal and may not be exchanged with another competitor, under penalty of disqualification.
The race bib must be attached to the front of the shirt worn during the race and must be clearly visible. The printed information must not be concealed under any circumstances, under penalty of disqualification.

Time Limit
The time limit for completing the 21.097 km course is 6 hours.

Timing and Chip
Timing will be carried out using a microchip embedded in the race bib, which will also record each athlete’s actual elapsed time.
The chip is strictly personal and may not be exchanged.
“Real Time” will begin when the athlete crosses the start line and end when the athlete crosses the finish line. Additional unannounced checks will be carried out to ensure that the results are compiled correctly.

The results, compiled on the basis of Gun Time, will become official after validation by the Technical Delegate/Jury of Appeal.
The race bib, and therefore the sensor, must not be removed for any reason, under penalty of exclusion from the results.

Race Pacers
Half Marathon: 1:30 – 1:40 – 1:50 – 2:00

Bag Drop
The bag-drop facility will be located at Carrara Fiere, 500 metres from the start, in the designated areas divided by race-number groups, and will be open from 7:45 a.m. The designated bag will be placed in the assigned area by service staff. The sticker bearing the athlete’s race number, provided at the Expo, must be affixed to the bag. The bag-drop facility will close at 8:30 a.m.

Free Reserved Parking for Athletes
Free, supervised parking for athletes will be available 200 metres from the start area from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Showers and Changing Rooms
Showers and changing rooms are located in the exhibition hall at Carrara Fiere.

Results
The official overall and split results, based on “Gun Time”, will be published on www.whitemarblemarathon.com and www.endu.net after the results have been validated by the Technical Delegate or Jury of Appeal.

Results and Awards
Three lists will be compiled: the finishing order based on the recorded times, the results prepared in accordance with FIDAL circulars for the competitive race, and the list of finishers in the non-competitive race.

The first 3 overall men and first 3 overall women will each receive a trophy.
All first-place finishers in the men’s and women’s age categories will receive awards.

Image Rights
By signing the White Marble Marathon registration form, the athlete expressly authorises the organiser, with immediate effect and free of charge, to use still and/or moving images depicting the athlete and taken during their participation in the Marathon. This authorisation to use the athlete’s image is granted for an unlimited period and without territorial restriction, worldwide, for use in publications and various audiovisual productions, including, by way of example and without limitation, promotional and/or advertising materials produced in any medium.
The organiser may also assign the rights of use provided for in this agreement to third parties, including its institutional and commercial partners.

Declaration of Liability
By signing the registration form, the athlete declares that they are familiar with and accept the White Marble Marathon rules published on www.whitemarblemarathon.com. The athlete also expressly declares, under their own responsibility, not only that the information provided is truthful (Article 2 of Law No. 15 of 4 January 1968, as amended by Article 3, paragraph 10, of Law No. 127 of 15 May 1997), but also that they release the organisers from all civil and criminal liability for injury or damage to persons and/or property caused by or suffered by the athlete.

Final Provisions
The White Marble Marathon Organising Committee reserves the right to supplement and update these rules at any time, subject to agreement with the Regional Committee and FIDAL at national level, in order to ensure that the event runs more smoothly, particularly where it coincides with other ancillary events in addition to those governed above, so as to ensure the coexistence of all participants, and/or following instructions from the public authorities concerning public order. Any changes to services, locations or times will be duly communicated to registered athletes by confirmation email or published on www.whitemarblemarathon.com, the sole official source of information.

Sunday, 14 February 2027
Expo open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for the distribution of race bibs, chips, programmes and race packs.
7:45 a.m. – bag drop opens in the exhibition-centre area.
8:00 a.m. – participant corrals open; distribution of race bibs, chips and race packs ends.
8:30 a.m. – bag drop closes and final entry to the start area.
8:45 a.m. – corrals close.
9:00 a.m. – race starts.
12:00 noon – awards ceremony begins.
3:30 p.m. – six-hour time limit expires and event closes.

General Course Information
Athletes will run on the course measured by FIDAL.
Refreshment stations will be provided every 5 km.
Athletes are strictly prohibited from receiving assistance along the course from acquaintances providing liquid or solid refreshments other than those supplied by the organisers and/or properly placed on the tables provided by the Organising Committee, under penalty of disqualification! The organiser prohibits the presence on the course of anyone without a race bib (on foot, by bicycle or by any other means) and may call upon the traffic police and municipal police to remove such persons from the course and, where appropriate, file a complaint against them (for fraud, sporting fraud or endangering the safety of authorised participants).
The organiser shall not be held liable in any way for damage or injury involving persons who unlawfully enter the course (without a race bib, by bicycle or otherwise). The course is entirely paved. Every kilometre will be marked; course measurement and final results will be handled by the Italian Timekeepers Federation.

Complaints
Any complaints must be submitted in accordance with FIDAL and R.T.I. regulations.

For all matters not covered by these rules, FIDAL regulations shall apply.
